By Air: For your convenience, we recommend making flight reservations with Santa Barbara Municipal Airport (SBA) as your final destination. There are several daily flight arrivals connecting directly from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Denver, and Dallas/Fort Worth. UCSB campus is a ten-minute drive from the airport.

Santa Barbara Airbus (bus shuttle service from LAX): This service provides several daily bus trips from Los Angeles International Airport to Santa Barbara (appx. $75 round-trip). Reservations are strongly recommended: (800)423-1618 (toll-free US/Canada), (805)964-7759 (outside US/Canada) or www.sbairbus.com. There are discounts for advance reservations and for parties of two or more.

By Train: Santa Barbara is served by Amtrak Train Service. Amtrak terminals are located in Santa Barbara (12–15 miles from campus) and Goleta (5 miles from campus). From there, you may reach the campus or your hotel by SuperRide Shuttle or taxi only.  Note: The UCSB Campus Shuttle cannot pick you up from the train station if you are residing on campus.

The following are a few numbers of many available services: SuperRide Shuttle (reserve in advance): (805)683-9636 / Yellow Cab: (805)965-5111 / Orange Cab: (805)964-2800

By Car: UCSB is easily accessible from highway US-101. (Please see the map links at the top of this page).

From the South: Take US-101 to the Airport/UCSB/Hwy. 217 exit (appx. 8 mi. north of downtown Santa Barbara). This expressway will take you directly into campus. Upon entering campus, you will go left onto Lagoon Road via a roundabout. Turn right at the first stop sign onto UCEN Road and follow directional signs for CRYPTO to Anacapa Hall (first building on the left).

From the North: Take US-101 to the Storke/Glen Annie Rd. exit. Turn right on Storke Road and proceed 2 miles to El Colegio Road. Turn left on El Colegio Road and proceed about one mile, at which time you will enter the UCSB campus. Turn left at the second traffic light (Ocean Rd.) after entering campus and follow signs for CRYPTO to Anacapa Hall.
